Welcome to 2010! It’s amazing how fast the year goes, and its time to start afresh, with Chinese New Year just over a week away. When you see the workshops lined up for you this year, you’ll agree that the triennium is finishing with a bang. November 2010. The AMAC(WA) will host the event.
The venue will be the HyattHotel in Adelaide Terrace, Perth. The keynote speaker will be Dr Joseph Helms MD from Berkeley California, USA. Dr. Helms has been recognised as the driving force behind the emergence of medical acupuncture as a discipline in modern medicine. He has been credited with the teaching of medical acupuncture to thousands of doctors in USA through the Helms Medical Institute in collaboration with the continuing medical education divisions of Stanford University and UCLA in California. He is the foundation president of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture and is in private practice at the Helms Medical Institute. Title of Dr. Helms’s lectures and demonstration. The HMI(Helms Medical Institute) Grid for acupuncture management of neuromusculoskeletal pain. It contains about a dozen acupuncture approaches to common pain problems.
